Erik, Trevin and I went up to Grandma and Grandpa Squires in Heber for the 4th of July! We had so much fun. The weather was SO awesome. It was cool and rained almost everyday! We even had to where our Jackets. I loved it. We had the annual BBQ and our friends from Snowflake came and the Doziers from our ward in the Valley. Shannas in-laws also got to come up and escape the heat. The fireworks, like always were amazing!!!
The parade this year was a dud I think we may skip it next year.

A couple weeks later...
Trevin and I went to visit my mom and dad and Shanna's family over the 24th of July celebration. We had so much fun. Snowflake put on the production of "Joesph and The Amazing Techno Color Dream Coat." It was well done and a really fun night.
The next day we went to the parade. It was a good parade and I got to visit with alot of people that I have not seen forever!
Like usual we sat with our good friends the Dunaways. They invited us to a wonderful BBQ, we talked, laughed, chased kids. It was a great time.

Trevin Turned 1 May 24, 2008! I can't believe my baby is already one. He has so much personality, I love it. The 25th we had ALL of the Squire's here and a couple others to celebrate. It was so neat having us all together. We had a great time. Trevin was not interested in eating his cake what-so-ever, but he had several cousins that were more than happy to help him.

Trevin gets very excited to have everyone around. He can't wait to do it again.

Trevin has decided that crawling just wasn't for him. Mothers day he walked about 5 steps, the farthest he had ever gone. Yesterday May 22nd he just let go. He walks everywhere, in fast he was almost running today.


This week is crazy busy, and the next the same and the next, then hopefully after the next things could slow down. Shanna, my sister was supposed to move June 21st. Well they got a renter sooner and well we started packing her yesterday and she needs to be out by June 27th since that is the day we are going to Mexico!!!! We are so excited but overwhelmed. Getting prepared for camping for a week on the beach is time consuming enough without trying to pack a 2,150 square foot home in 4 days. In addition it is Trevins Big 1 year old birthday Saturday. My brother Chad and his wife and kids are going to be here from Iowa, my brother Jake, his wife and her friend and her husband and my mom and dad are going to be staying here for Trevins party. In addition Shanna & her family will be here also. It will be so fun having my whole family together. This means some serious grocery shopping and cleaning on my part! Nobody has seen my house yet so I want everything to be perfect... Monday we are going to have a birthday party for Trevin with the Lopez's!!!

April time really does fly!

Erik, Trevin and I are doing great. School is almost over for Erik and we are literally counting the days. Quick over view...

We bought our first home in December. We now live in Tolleson and we love it so much. Trevin especially! He is everywhere, and I love that he has room to roam.

It has three bedrooms, a small loft, a den, two baths and a powder room. We went from a 900 square foot apartment to a 1959 square foot home and our stuff still doesn't fit...Time for a serious yard sale :)

I think picking out paint has probably been THE hardest decision of my life. Yep the hardest, then you know should I get married, have a baby ect... I will have white walls forever!

For our 2 year anniversary we went out to eat and I had said previously we don't need to get big presents just something small. Erik got me this sweet wall hanging, very thoughtful. I got Erik Nacho Libre. Now I know that doesn't sound thoughtful, but I really don't like the movie and he LOVES it and quotes it ALL the time. He was really surprised. After our dinner Erik suggested we go by Best Buy apparently I got the full screen version not wide screen. We somehow walked out of there with a 42" Flat screen! HAPPY ANNIVERSARY TO ME...or I should say Erik. (He says it makes the Wii more Fun.) It's OK I got couches the next weekend!!!

What happened to the sexy Wordpress version of e2lopez.com? Well, it all boils down to the fact that I couldn't make Wordpress as user-friendly as Blogger. We wanted to have more pictures and more videos on the site, but Wordpress and the gazillon plug-ins/homegrown hacks I used/made couldn't match Blogger for usability. I'll probably try my hand at making a custom Blogger theme in the future, but I've still got eriklopez.net and dailyreviewer.com that need some love. It's been a while for both.

Anyway, now that the conversion to Blogger is complete, we'll start posting more often and with more content.
